Originally from Cornwall, Thyme graduated from The Glasgow School of Art in 2019 with a BA in Fine Art Painting and Printmaking, while also attending the Academy of Fine Art Vienna on an Erasmus+ Scholarship in 2016-17.

In 2019 she received the New Graduate Award from the Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts and was shortlisted for the Scottish Drawing Competition 2021, more recently she was awarded the individual artist grant by The Hope Scott Trust in 2022. She has exhibited prolifically across the UK in a range of venues such as The Glasgow Print Studio, The McClellan Galleries, The Mall Galleries and Christie’s London.
