I have an academic background in the history of the fine and applied arts and have drawn and painted for as long as I can remember including life drawing for many years and a wide range of other subjects. For the last few years I have continued with regular life drawing sessions and have spent much time in exploring the collograph area of printmaking. I am a member of Sheffield Printmakers which has over 40 regular members. I participate in events organised by the group and submit work for various open shows.

Collograph is my particular interest because I find it offers a huge variety of possibilities – work can range from the graphic/linear at one end to the very painterly at the other and I find that very appealing.
